Pros: You will sound cool having this buggy tyrannical software in your laptop.
Cons: Pushing its costumers to install apps without their permission.
Collecting personal data.
Problems that are time consuming to figure out to solve.
Other Thoughts: Assess your purpose of having a laptop?
School? use Libreoffice or other products.
Editing? Use Mac
Gaming? Use Linux
I'm done with Microsoft
Pros: -Legit
-a must to play games
Cons: -Linux still better for power user
Pros: Its Win 10 and it works.
Cons: Depending on what version you are installing there has been a major version update every 6 months.
Other Thoughts: You can download the OS install for Win 10 from Microsoft's website and skip a lot of updates. Then just use a product key.
Pros: It does almost everything windows 7 did.
Cons: minor
- It boots mildly slower than 7 (both on SSDs, 7 booted before my TV turned on, 10 I have to wait 15 seconds before hitting it)
- Fails to remember that i am running on a TV, and thus have to Scale slightly to have all things visible, necessitating a trip to the AMD settings to reset the scaling if my TV turns on before the OS is done loading. This may be an AMD issue)
-It is openly spying on you
-it is downloading updates in the background, even if you tell it not to, so if you have rural internet it will nuke your speed.
-Loads of bloatware apps included
Major
-May lock when allowed to sleep, requiring a hard restart that can damage anything from files to hardware.
- The updates that it pushes when you are not looking have a 10% chance to seriously screw up anything from your settings to your ability to LOAD THE OS!
I have been running it on my newest PC for less than 6 months, In that time I have come home from work to load it up and it was completely borked TWICE! (the second being the reason I am writing this review)
The first time, i had let the computer go to sleep after it finished playing a (supposed to be looped, but that is YouTube's fault) music album as I went to bed. I woke up, having had it lock up previously I shut it down the hard way and went to work. Came home and it failed to recognize that I had any storage devices installed, starting a long process that involved 10+ attempted repairs, numerous SATA cable unpluggings, (running a 1TB SSD, and 2 2TB HDDs), and 3 reinstalls over the course of 4 hours before i got the SSD (only the SSD) working again and said screw it.
A month or so later i finally found the ambition to plug the HDDs back in and for some darn* reason they worked, making me happy.
I came home from work today, powered it on, and it decided it was updating (without my permission, as you can only delay updates and not cancel them). it went to 100%, restarted and said it was installing updates, again, before reaching 35% and then promptly restarting, and asking me to inset boot media.
I restarted to access the BIOS's boot menu to find that , once again, it had 'forgotten' that all of my installed storage devices existed.
having read up a bit on the issue, i was aware that it could be fixed by juggling all of the SATA cables to different ports, so this time it only took 45 minutes of my time to fix.

Other Thoughts: Can Microsoft please hire the testing team the fired back? I don't appreciate being a guinea pig, or having my information sold after paying $100 for a downgrade that i only needed to get because I wanted modern hardware.
Pros: its more stable and seems to run without blue screens of death that previous versions of Windows seem to throw. Plenty of options, abilities and ues. I used the Microsoft web pages and created a boot USB drive to install the OS from, all I needed from this product was the key Code, didn't even use the disc. Cheap cost, one PC use OS, maybe for another 30 -40 bucks you get the rights to move the OS to another PC, so maybe a year or two from now you can move the OS, but my last PC went 3 years, got a free upgrade from 8 to 10 and I couldn't move the OS to a new build, so the rights I purchased then did me no good when it came time for a new PC. Something to ponder when rubbing the crystal ball
Cons: The key code is micro sized, REALLY, need a magnifying glass to make sure an 8 wasn't a B or vise a versa. Also need to scratch lightly as the key code is also not indelible and can be scratch off as well with to much force, I used my finger nail and had no issues other than its microsized font.
Other Thoughts: Yes i would recommend this product, other OS require more user knowledge and can require more building in the build process than dumping in Win 10, updating it to current version and adding drivers.
Pros: There’s not really any pros. It’s Windows 10. I liked Windows 7 much better.
Cons: It’s Windows 10.
Pros: - No issues with the Key.
- Easy install (As always)
Cons: - None. Most everything everyone is complaining about has nothing to do with buying a key from here, just their personal gripes with Windows 10.
